Backpacker Manager

An exciting opportunity to work in one of the world\'s most amazing alpine environments Aoraki Mount Cook National Park, New Zealand.

A fantastic new business is opening October 2010 and we want you to be our new Mount Cook Backpackers Manager.
You would initially be part of the pre opening team and after opening will oversee the complete operation, consisting of accommodation, bar and dining area.
The ideal person will
Be a self-starter,
Have a huge personality,
Demonstrate entrepreneurial flair,
Have sound business acumen,
Have great people management skills
This opportunity would suit someone with previous backpacker management experience or management experience within a Pub, Camp; or similar environment.
To be successful in gaining this role you would need to have strong leadership skills, effectively manage a small team, you will be responsible for the recruitment and training of your team so you will have previous recruitment and training experience, high levels of attention to detail, and a passion for quality and customer service.
