Established in 1993, The Professional Bar and Restaurant School is one of New Zealand's leading hospitality management institutes. Our approach combines highly qualified tutorial staff, outstanding training facilities and a completely current and relevant curriculum which is offered in both Wellington and Auckland. We were proud to be recognised as The Trusts Best Training and Development Business and Best Hospitality Business, along with the Westpac Supreme Business award at the Waitakere Business Awards in 2009.
After a year of significant growth and achievement, we are seeking a General Manager who will work with our Managing Directors to develop the next strategic plan and provide operational leadership for our School. Success in this role will require sound financial management skills and an open, engaging and energetic leadership style.
Your knowledge of the relevant education sector governing bodies, legislation and moderation protocols will add significant value as you introduce business discipline without stifling the entrepreneurial spirit and flexibility that has enabled the business to grow. Familiarity with the hospitality industry is not a prerequisite, but may be advantageous.
